Ship of Fools (2022) is a seafaring cooperative adventure where you set sail in dangerous seas and fight to survive. You play by making multiple attempts to cross the sea, using cannons to defend yourselves
Your mission is to man the cannons and battle sea monsters through the tempestuous seas of the Archipelago. You must defend yourselves from the increasingly aggressive enemies. As you go you collect trinkets and artefacts to help you survive on this run and the next.
You start by choosing which character to use and how to combine their different abilities with items and equipment. But there's a big focus on co-operative play as you need to both deal with combat as well as ship maintenance. Teamwork is essential as you battle together to defend and repair the ship, combine item effects in powerful combos and make sure you have your shipmate's back. As the weather and seas change each run, you need to adjust your course to find the right route to discover what lurks inside the storm.
The result is a frantic nautical challenge for both solo and co-op sailing. It's fun and taxing at the same time so each run feels both rewarding and challenging.
