Play OverviewPlay Overview

Speed Crew (2023) is a fast collaborative action game where you and up to three friends rush to repair race cars to help your team win. Play is about sequencing actions efficiently, so you need good communication and coordination as you attempt repairs in ever-more dramatic and outlandish locations. Like Overcooked, it's an unusual kind of collaboration, that challenges you to stay calm under the increasing pressure of its comical over-the-top situations.

Each stage is set in the pits for a particular race. You must move around, avoid hazards and use the various tools to fix parts of the cars that race in, needing repair. In later stages, the hazards become more extreme - lava pits, faster cars, conveyor belts and explosive engines. Some repairs, such as inflating tyres, can go disastrously wrong if left unchecked, so making sure you work as a team, with each person aware of what they need to do, is essential to success.

The result is a party game where calm communication amid the chaos of high-speed repairs can turn the tide in your favour. Working together with family and friends and overcoming each new challenge is a fun and rewarding challenge.

Skill Level

9+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Working as a team reduces the need for everyone to quickly react to new events and allows young children to participate. Every team member can work on a different role that suits their ability. Although younger players can be carried by others, as the stages get harder you need everyone to contribute for success. This can become frustrating for youngsters.
