Play Overview
Stab Stab Stab (2019) is a frantic fighting game where monster birds try to impale each other with their sharp beaks. You play by running, jumping and grabbing power-ups in a rush to stab your opponents more than they stab you. You can either play the multiplayer all-versus-all mode or the co-op mode where you have to fight off an endless stream of mutant birds. It's a wacky and peculiar (but still skill based) twist on other brawling party games.
Play involves getting your long-legged "fleshbird" character to skewer enemies while evading their attacks. Things quickly get hectic, especially with larger numbers of players. Picking up power-ups grants a random mutation to either you or your opponents. They can either benefit you or downgrade your enemies, like removing their legs or making your beak longer to reach them more easily. There are 30 different arenas, each with unique layouts and features to navigate. For example, many levels have spikes on the walls, and some have gas columns that let you fly.
It can be tricky to be precise when moving around, but that's the point. Stab Stab Stab is meant to be all-out carnage - a no-holds-barred beak brawl between mosquito-bird hybrids.
