Play Overview
Sun Haven (2021) is a role-playing adventure game where you tend the land, build relationships in a fantasy village, and fight monsters to save the realm. With magical abilities and companions, you explore towns and cities belonging to different races and defeat the mysterious forces of darkness in the countryside, then go back to your homestead, where you tend crops and animals and get to know the townsfolk. It combines cosy life simulation with a grand role-playing adventure to create a comprehensive mythological world.
You play a new arrival to the town of Sun Haven, where you discover that a mysterious dark magic has been threatening the inhabitants. With scant resources and money, it's up to you to set up your home, make friends, and set out on an adventure to save the world. Along the way, you grow in power, visit the other fantasy towns, and find the cause of the darkness.
After choosing and customising your race from several fantasy species, play is split between life simulation and adventure. At your home, you grow crops, tend to animals, and build relationships; what exactly you do - who you talk to, what crops you grow, how you design your farm - is up to you. In the outside world, you battle enemies using different weapons and magical abilities. As you progress, you grow stronger and choose what powers to invest in.
The result is a combination of Stardew Valley's life simulation and interactions with a magical fantasy role-playing adventure that creates a rich and immersive world where the way your story unfolds is in your hands.
