Play Overview
Sushi For Robots (2023) is a brain game about serving sushi-obsessed robots with the right-shaped food. You place sushi on the conveyor belt so it gets to the right-shaped robots. You can also put down stickers to change the behaviour of your dishes and please your robotic clientele. It stands out for the endearing scenario and puzzles that require both logical and creative thinking (and quickly get really hard).
The challenge is simple: get the right sushi to the matching robots. You do this by dragging and dropping the different dishes and stickers onto (or next to) the conveyor belt. What evolves is a sequencing and path-finding challenge that avoids being too long or convoluted. It's a challenge that feels satisfying when you complete it.
As you progress it becomes clear that there's not one way to solve each level. The game's open system encourages experimentation and finding creative solutions. Add to this the limited time and stickers for the increasingly complex levels and it's a game that soon requires considerable cleverness. It's a real challenge that invites investigation not only of completion but efficiency.
