Play OverviewPlay Overview

The Metronomicon: Slay the Dance Floor is a rhythm-based role-playing game where you play a group of heroes as they dance their way through an epic quest. You collect loot, learn new moves and challenge foes to dance battles on your journey to save the world by mastering the "rhythmic combat arts".

Play consists of pushing the buttons in time with the beat, matching the rhythm indicators as they cross the line to charge up your attacks and special moves. Between battles, you can equip your dancers with various equipment and special moves, and then during the battle you can switch between which character you are controlling at any time.

There's a lot of strategy in choosing the moves your heroes are ready to use and switching between your dancers at the right time and using those sweet dance moves to buff and heal your party and launch devastating spells and groovy attacks at the villains, all without missing a beat.

You can also customize how characters play by choosing their moves to create entirely different ways to fight. Or, if you want you can get really technical with how you equip and arrange their moves to gain the most damage or the longest-lasting enhancements.

It’s a unique fusion of roleplaying and rhythm games. Music and timing augment the strong role-play elements as you collect loot, add characters to your party and take on side quests for special rewards. All the while the fun songs drive the rhythm mechanics at the core of the experience.
