Play Overview
Thief Town (2014) is a stealth traversal game where you play in a crowd of identical characters. You must first work out which one you are and then spot the other human players to attack them. Get it wrong and all you do is reveal yourself.
The game offers other modes like ‘Spy Town’, where you can trick and trap other players, and the 1-vs-3 ‘Drunk Town’, where you have limited use of your pistol sights to spot the players.
Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Thief Town 4 years ago. It was re-examined by Thom Robertson and updated 2 weeks ago.

Age Ratings
Skill Level
6+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. The hide-and-seek nature of the game matches playground skills of very young children. You do need to be able to move your character around and also observe others to find out which one is the baddie. Some modes are simpler than others and therefore better for very young players.
