Tumble Town is a world-building game where you compete to build the best town in the Wild West. You play by rolling dice to match patterns on Construction cards and using those dice to build 3D buildings. It is a town planning game where you need both puzzle skills and lucky dice rolls to win.

As mayor, you hope to impress the people of Tumble Town with your building and town-planning skills. You roll coloured dice, then match them to the patterns (both number and shape requirements) on a Building card to add that building to your Town board. Some Building cards have more difficult-to-roll patterns but also reward you with the most points at the end of the game. Weighing the risk-reward of easy versus high-scoring cards is exacerbated by matching the townspeople’s requests for building in your town.

As you play, options for placement become more challenging: the shared store of dice becomes depleted and space on your Town board fills up. Spotting the best way to make use of every inch of your Town is tricky but the key to winning. When the shared reserves of two-coloured dice are used up, the game ends and players add up their scores. You score points for the buildings built and if you have managed to place them in the correct sequences on the Street board. The player with the most points is the winner.

This is an easy-to-play game, where dice rolling luck and spatial puzzles combine to make a satisfying world-building game. It presents far more of a challenge than first appears as you need to match both building and placement requirements. The shared dice piles mean you also need to keep a close eye on other people's building plans. It's a satisfying, challenging and competitive game that is different every time.
