Play OverviewPlay Overview

Wayfinder (2021) is a meditative adventure where you explore the wild to reconnect with nature and create poems. As you travel through the world, the seasons change to reveal words to collect that form unique miniature poems. It's a short game that stands out for its simple invitation to slow down and appreciate the beauty of the world.

You play a small character who wants to restore nature by reconnecting it with the outside world. To do this, you search for tokens that reveal words and then combine them to make a poem. As you collect more of these, the trees start to bloom, birds chirp, and flowers blossom. Seasons change and you gradually heal your bond to nature and, by extension, nature itself.

The world is generated randomly each time you play, and the poem stanzas are created using the Chat-GPT artificial intelligence system, so you can play over and over and have a completely new adventure each time, discovering lakes, forests, and grasslands.

The result is a game that blurs the line between game and poetic animation, inviting you to step into a world all too often disconnected from the rush of everyday life.
