Play Overview
Each of the five stories is set in a strange world called The West, where man-eating monsters and cannibals coexist with robbers and bandits. You play a consciousness that's transferred into different bodies by a shadowy group of people. In each person you inhabit, you discover a different story.
In this way, you explore the world, talk to locals and choose how things progress with your actions. This can change how each story unfolds drastically. Many parts of the game offer choices between fast-paced combat or more methodical methods to complete a mission non-violently.
The result is a game that offers an unusual mix of game-altering dialogue, branching and intertwining narratives, and the option to choose violence or cunning. It's a game about how your presence affects the world rather than a strong premeditated narrative. For those willing to go along with this emergent approach to storytelling there can be some fascinating and unexpected moments unique to you and your choices.
