Auto Chess is a strategy game where you set up automated actions to gain a competitive advantage. As you play you purchase units that will battle for you, each unit has different attributes that can collaborate with other units. Despite many interactions being based on luck or automation, as a player, it is your job to weigh choices based on the odds you're presented. Will you accept defeat to save your money? Or will you invest in order hopes of stopping your opponent?
In a single-player game, you will face opponents many times with each encounter only lasting a few seconds. It is your job in these interactions to see who your threats are and prioritise how you can adapt to defeat them while not creating new weaknesses for the other players to exploit.
While the game has a steep learning curve for ranked play, the basic interactions are simple and the game is able to walk you through basic formations and strategies, reducing the barrier of entry.
