Among Trees (2020) is a game you play in a forested wilderness full of creatures and fauna. It's handcrafted by a small team and creates a vibrant world to explore. Play involves hunting for resources and animals to hunt but this isn't a game about combat or harsh encounters. It's a game about escaping to the wilderness, not to win or dominate, but rather to find your place in the wild.

You are invited to settle into your new home, a little wood cabin in the heart of a lush forest. You can expand the dwelling by building new rooms, cooking food, growing plants, and crafting tools. As you progress you need to explore further from your safe home to find the materials you need. Care needs to be taken to look after your sleep, health and hunger or you find yourself fading to black.

Out beyond your cabin, there's a colourful world to explore brimming with life. From dense forests to dark caves. From beautiful skylines to creatures pausing on tree stumps. In these places, you learn to survive, stay safe, scavenge for food, catch fish, and chop down trees. Stay stealthy as you do this, to avoid the wild, deadly beasts that roam the forest. Stay warm during ice-cold blizzards – and who knows what other dangers the night brings.
