Play OverviewPlay Overview

Aviary Attorney (2015) is a courtroom drama set in nineteenth-century Paris, populated with beautifully drawn animals. Guiding JayJay Falcon, defence attorney, you help investigate each case before each of the four court dates; combing crime scenes, interrogating suspects and gathering evidence ready to pull out during cross-examination. Things get more involved, with limited time to collect everything you need.

The writing, animal characters and backing music create a fantasy world that’s a joy to explore. The different endings are pleasingly varied and offer a chance for the characters we now know well to reflect on what justice really is.

Solving each mystery and winning the cases is hugely satisfying, but it’s the culmination of the four acts into a single story of murder, spying and (of course) revolution that makes this really stand out.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Aviary Attorney 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 2 days ago.
