Play Overview
Far From Noise (2017) is a narrative game where you play a car balancing on the edge of a cliff. You meet multiple animals that act as spiritual guides and discuss what it means to balance between life and death. When talking, you get the choice of two phrases that will affect the conversation and ultimately the type of ending.
The game has calming ocean scenery and a daylight cycle that shifts from day to night, making you notice how the landscape changes around you. It has simple controls and gently invites you to explore the deeper meaning within the story that can be interpreted in many ways. Because of the strong narrative, as you play it slowly becomes similar to a book or poetry and less like a video game.
