Play Overview
Full Metal Furies (2018) is a cooperative fighting game where you defend the free world from tyrannical titans. With three friends you each choose a character and work together to defeat special enemies, string combination attacks and save a war-torn world that is battling itself to extinction.
The emphasis is on button-mashing fun with friends, but to do well you need to hone your skills and work together. If you play on your own you pick two characters to switch and make the best use of their different abilities:
These characters work really well as they have both distinct advantages as well as limitations. This balancing requires you to work as a team to take down a wide range of unique enemies: charging Minotaurs, leaping Lycaon and even artillery-striking Artillerists. Also, because certain enemies require particular (character colour-coded) attacks, having a diverse group where everyone is important is built into the game. If one of the team dies you may need to revive them before you can carry on.
Collect gold and level your party up as you go. Find blueprints hidden throughout the world to upgrade your kit. Maybe turn the Engineer into a machine-gun firing banshee. Or turn the Tank into an area-clearing shouting banshee. Or have the Hammer become a super-speed spinning banshee.
