Wargroove 2 is a strategy game where you command squads of troops in tactical grid-based battles. Rather than directly controlling your troops, play focuses on assessing your enemy and terrain to send in forces that fight independently. It stands out for the mix of tactical battle-planning with a quirky fantasy world and stories.

NotesAccessibility Notes

As movement around the map is turn-based and you don't directly participate in combat, there is no need for quick reactions, nor is there any need for paid pressing, simultaneous inputs or button holds. You can have the game automatically end your turn when there aren't any more movements you can make.

You can choose between different difficulty settings, which affect things like the amount of damage received.

Text is high in contrast, although smaller than 1/20th of screen height. Some dialogue is voiced, while all of it is captioned, with speech bubbles appearing by characters, with the speaker's name included in the speech bubble.

You can generally see the whole map of the area you're in during a level, so navigation is not an issue. Objectives are made clear throughout.

There is a colourblind mode which allows you to change the colours of different troops, with different colours.
