Bleep Bloop is a puzzle game where you manoeuvre two coloured blobs through increasingly complex stages. Each moves in a straight line until it hits a wall, and can interact with switches and obstacles that alter the layout of the level. It's a familiar concept, but the way you need to use both characters in tandem to reach the exit and unlock the way forward makes it stand out.

NotesAccessibility Notes

If you're playing by yourself, you need to control both characters (2 sticks on a controller), but if you're with someone else, you only need to control one (1 stick on a controller). There isn't a rewind feature, so if you want to start a level again you have to exit to the main menu and go in again from there. There is no text in the game.

The locations you need to get Bleep and Bloop to in each stage are always clearly marked, albeit in a colour that is occasionally low in contrast. However, as they are the only animated squares on the screen, they're always easy to spot. Because you can always see the entire level, figuring out where to go is straightforward. However, actually navigating there is the whole challenge.

There is high contrast between your two characters, as well as between them and the background.

All Dialogue is Voice Acted (Or No Speech In Game): All of the game dialogue and narrative can be voiced, or there is no speech in the game. This means there is no requirement to read the dialogue and narrative text to play the game.
