Roundguard is a dungeon adventure where your character is a pinball rather than a normal person. You work your way through different castle levels by flinging yourself around, bouncing off enemies to defeat them and into pots of gold to gain currency. It's a whacky, fun take on adventuring that combines chance and skill in an approachable way.

External examiner, Michelle Lega, first checked Roundguard accessibility 21 months ago. It was re-examined by Angela Hickman Newnham and updated 17 months ago.

NotesAccessibility Notes

The "easy" mode is activated by equipping the Mercy Medal. There is a new tutorial the first time you play every character to learn their special tricks.

Some abilities require holding down a button for a short time while aiming to be the most effective.

There is an Arachnophobia Mode that removes the legs from the spider's enemies. It doesn't change the rest of their art, names (ie "spider"), or attack types (poisons, bite, web).

There is a Zoom Feature on a slider, and the higher you set the slider, the more often the game will zoom in on the action of your character. At the full "whoa" setting you will see everything your character is doing during the turn from a close-up perspective.
