The Crew Motorfest is an open-world racing and exploration game. It's a sequel that takes 2018's The Crew 2 to a Hawaiian island you traverse with cars, trucks, boats, and planes. It stands out for the many ways to explore the vibrant world, and the ever-expanding roster of vehicles, races, events, and competitions to jump in and drive.

Ubisoft has published a spotlight detailing the game's accessibility features.

Although both sticks on the controller are used, you only need to use one during gameplay. You can remap the controls to make it so that all the essential controls can be used with only one hand. When in races, to use nitro to boost your speed you need to hold down the button while also still accelerating, requiring simultaneous holds, although nitro isn't strictly necessary to play. Holds in menus can be changed to presses.

You can enable steering and driving assists in the menu. Navigational assists such as GPS directions are fully voiced. Text can be made high in contrast and its size can be adjusted.

You can choose the difficulty level for each race, with higher difficulties being unlocked after the easier difficulties are beaten and offering more money for winning.

Races at high speed require quick reactions to turns and twists and fast processing of information. You can rewind the race when playing against AI opponents. Some events require you to reach a location in a certain time, so are high-pressure.

The game saves all progress outside of races, but if you fail a race you need to restart it from the beginning or rewind as the game doesn't save during races.

You can use a racing line when driving, that not only tells you the route to take but also the best speed and angle to take each corner. It should be noted that for some specific events the map and HUD navigation, as well as the racing line, are disabled, although this is very uncommon.
