Play OverviewPlay Overview

Advent Neon is a fast reaction-based running, jumping and bashing game. You dash your away through retro-style levels working towards transforming into your full power state. It's like a fighting game, complete with directional attacks, mixed with a platform game.

You play Neon and punch your way through all manner of robots in an effort to get your creator's body back. A little like a more violent Sonic game, you attack enemies by shredding through them at high speed. The skill is chaining this movement together so you flow through the level at high speed. Get spot on and you can transform into an engine of destruction. Hitting lightspeed also means you literally freeze time (and the level timer) to get the advantage on your enemies.

It draws from a range of inspirations. Most unusual is combining the platform jumping and running with a full fighter's moves with cancelable attacks, combos and wavedashes. The result is an unusual experience that offers a mechanical challenge that can only be perfected with training.
