Play Overview
Call of the Sea (2020) is a narrative adventure set in the 1930s. As Nora, you explore an island in the Southern Pacific to find your missing husband. As you do you discover that he went hunting for a cure for your mystery illness, but what happened after that requires investigation and revisiting memories of being there before.
Unlike many adventures, there is no combat. Instead, progress is through solving situational puzzles and finding clues in the world. These start relatively easily but get more complex. Either way, the puzzles not only unlock the way forward but connect you to your husband's previous visit to the island.
While you explore the tropical island, what becomes apparent is that this is as much about our female protagonist as it is about any external mystery. Investigate the clues left by a previous voyage, piece together what happened, and solve a variety of clever puzzles. The result is a branching story with different endings depending on your choices and interactions.
