Play Overview
This Bed We Made (2023) is a neo-noir adventure mystery game where you play a 1950s maid who stumbles into deadly secrets. You go about your duties cleaning rooms, but soon notice strange clues about heartbreak and murder.
Your shift at the Clarington Hotel begins like any other until you reach room 505 and notice some strange going on. To play you must clean the rooms, but delve into guest's possessions to uncover what's going on. Things continue to get stranger as you realise you are being watched by one guest who has evidence of your snooping.
As you progress you discover a dark, intriguing story that weaves in and out of the different guests, and maybe even your colleague. The objects you find can be inspected to reveal further clues, and some need to be pieced together in simple puzzles. How you progress not only affects the story but also your intimate relationships with hotel employees and guests. For example, you choose between two accomplices; street-smart Beth or book-smart Andrew;
The result is a game where every choice, big or small, can impact how the story unfolds. It offers a claustrophobic creepy story to unravel that's made all the more intense because of the single hotel location.
