Play OverviewPlay Overview

Craftomation 101 (2024) is a simulation adventure where you must survive after landing on a frozen planet. Play involves defrosting land to harvest and combine materials to survive. You can do it all yourself, or you can build robots to automate every task to accelerate your progress.

You land on a frozen planet with an important mission: to make it habitable. To do that, you’d need to harvest resources, craft tools, burn fires, melt the ice, plant trees and produce oxygen. You have 9000 years to see how this plays out.

You play by moving around the world with your character to do the tasks yourself. However, the real novelty is using the visual drag-and-drop programming to make the robots do the tiresome work for you. In this way, you develop an army of self-sustaining robot workers and watch them terraform the planet.

The result is a game that combines this simple premise with a huge web of materials and tools to discover and develop. If you like incremental progression this is a perfect game for you. Add to that the automation aspect and there's a lot of fun and learning to be had here.
