Dead Pets Unleashed is a narrative rhythm game about a struggling punk band wrestling with life and the challenges of getting older. You play the songs in rhythm-action elements, while also getting to know the locals and managing the progress of your band. It takes the coming-of-age games like Night in the Woods and Goodby Volcano High in an edgier grittier direction.

You play Gordy, who's doing her best to keep the band together. However, you have to work with Gordy's less-than-perfect finances and faltering well-being. Can you manage to earn enough to cover rent, bills, and everything else?

As you progress you make choices (or failures) that affect how Gordy prioritises her life and shapes the future of the Dead Pets band. With different endings, Gordy has the chance to grow up in different ways, depending on the decisions you make.

The result is a game of many parts that combine to create a surprisingly coherent whole. Feminism, lite management, rhythm-action and narrative. It leaves you pondering the value of music, long-term friendships, and the way we each grow up at our own pace.
