Play OverviewPlay Overview

Fall of Porcupine (2023) is a narrative adventure about a young doctor bird working in an unhealthy healthcare system. It stands out not only for the hard-hitting theme but the quality of writing and the depth of characters you meet along the way.

Play involves exploring the world of work and wider life. You meet (and drink with) villagers, take a trip to the nearby forest or discover the mysterious castle ruins. As you meet people you have funny, profound and serious conversations and influence your relationship with them by how these go.

But at all times you are aware of the ticking clock and your patients that are waiting for you. At work in the Hospital, you diagnose them through conversations and prescribe treatments with logic, speed and skill mini-games.

As you progress you realise all is not well. Although at first glance the small town is a warm and friendly place, you soon overhear things lurking in the shadows. Not everyone is as honest as they pretend to be.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Fall of Porcupine 18 months ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 10 weeks ago.
