Death the Guitar is a running, jumping and fighting game where you play a killer electric guitar whose owner was murdered. Play involves traversing levels and taking on enemies by using power chords to obliterate them or trigger lifts and boosts.
Death the Guitar is a pixilated violent platform game where your goal is to take revenge on humans by manipulating "sound" and "electricity" to blow their bodies apart. With your simple ability to sound out a power chord, you can trigger amps to jump, electrify the floor to activate gimmicks or just aim the sound at enemies. As you progress you learn to put the simple intuitive controls to work. It's a game where you die a lot but starting over enables you to perfect your approach to the hardcore action.
The result is a full-on, gory challenge where you learn to react quickly and use the environment to dispatch enemies before they get you. And you do all that by simply playing chords.
