Play OverviewPlay Overview

Disney Dreamlight Valley (2022) is a world building game about restoring a broken Disney world. You interact with famous Disney Characters and decorate the valley with a wide variety of items and famous locations. Like a cross between Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing, it offers a chance to create the Disney Park of your (childhood) dreams.

After a mysterious event causes the once-idyllic Dreamlight Valley to fall into disarray and disrepair, it's up to you to help the Disney and Pixar characters (Mickey Mouse, Buzz Lightyear and Mufasa) recover their memories and restore the valley to its former magic.

You interact with the characters and unlock a variety of different items and buildings. There you can freely place across the sprawling valley, centred around the Disney Castle. You can change the look of many items as well, allowing for intricate and deeply personal designs to take shape.

Similar to a real-life Disney Park, you can bring both heroes and villains to the valley to live in harmony, and can recreate your favourite moments from the films, such as cooking with Ratatouille or sailing with Moana. Each character has their own unique interactions with you, reflecting their personality in their respective source material.

It's a clever mix of city-building mechanics with the personal interactions of games like Stardew Valley that, combined with the classic Disney brand, makes for a creative experience that differs from player to player.
