Play Overview
Floppy Knights (2022) is an adventure where you battle enemies using cards and turn-based strategy. With your robot, Carlton, and a group of virtual knights, you must liberate your town from hostile invaders. It looks like Advance Wars but has a unique blend of deck-building and strategy that offers new ways to play for youngsters and more forgiving progression.
You play Phoebe, an enthusiastic young inventor who lives with her parents, who want her to become more responsible and get a job. With the help of your only friend, a robot you built yourself called Carlton, you create the Floppy Knights, virtual beings who can interact with the real world. With their help, you defeat the enemies lurking in your town and beyond and restore peace to the land.
In each level, you need to use your cards, which you can buy or unlock, to move in turn-based battles and attack enemies. Each turn, you have 5 energy that can be spent on using different cards. Each knight unit has unique abilities and strengths, so picking the right ones for each fight is key to ensuring your success. You'll face off against a variety of foes, and they all have different attack ranges and strengths, which can be learned by clicking on them.
Once you have beaten a level, the next one is unlocked. There are 8 different sections to the game, each with a different theme and set of levels. As you progress things get slightly more difficult, so you'll need to utilise the skills you learn as you go.
It's a game with a unique blend of tactics and gameplay that challenges you to hone your deck of cards and your battling skills.
