Play OverviewPlay Overview

Fortnite Festival (2023) is a rhythm action game in Fortnite, created by the people who made Rock Band. Play involves picking a song to play, and then pressing buttons in time with the music like Guitar Hero. It's a novel way to reprise the popular play style with lots of high-profile artists.

You can play songs on your own or with your friends. You can choose to take on the lead guitar, drums, vocals or bass. However, you don't need any plastic peripherals or microphones to play this. You progress by pressing buttons in time to the music. As you progress you can build up streaks and trigger power-ups for more points. The artists expected to be included are Lady Gaga, Linkin Park, and Toto.

The result is a music game built in the Fortnite ecosystem, that offers players a new way to hang out and jam together with their favourite music.
