Play Overview
Infinite Craft (2024) is a sequencing game where you combine different items to create new (and sometimes unexpected) things. Play starts with just four elements (earth, wind, fire and water) but combining them in different ways can create an almost endless array of items. It stands out for how the simple premise uses AI to respond to your creative combinations with surprising yet believable results.
You craft various elements using previous ones gained. You drag one element to another to combine it and create a new one. For example, fire and water make steam, plants and wizards make druids, and fire and mountains make volcanoes. What seems super simple, soon grows unimaginably in scope. The game uses AI to produce new elements, making it possible for there to be infinite elements in the game.
As you progress you realise the real challenge is not predicting what combinations might create but finding combinations that produce elements no one else has found. When you do this you get a First Discovery award.
