Play OverviewPlay Overview

Kamikaze Veggies (2022) (previously called Suicide Vegetables) is a stealth adventure game starring an absurd cast of vegetable characters. You carefully choose a vegetable with the right specialist skills for each level and set about bringing the enemy down by stealth before blowing up their base.

Your team of kamikaze warriors each have different skills and predispositions. It's up to you to use their potential and complete the mission successfully. As you progress you can collect equipment crates in the game and pull up a selector wheel to quickly switch between the items you need for each enemy.

The main mode is a single-player campaign. You can also play in split-screen mode with one other player. Each time you complete a level you are awarded on the basis of how well you have achieved the objectives.

The result is not only a game that directs its violence in a slapstick non-realistic direction but one that also requires considerable patience, planning and deft control. It's Worms meets Cannon Fodder and Metal Gear by way of Quentin Tarantino.
