It's basically a pet care game where you earn what your creatures need by cleaning up pollution from the sea. Along the way, you explore an open-world alien planet, upgrade your gun and jetpack, build a cosy home base and discover new things to do. As you progress your pet-like creatures grow in different ways, depending on what they eat.
The result is a game that's much deeper than it first appears. You work from the murky waters, oil spills, and scattered junk to a pristine pollution-free environment. As you do you discover a story about the company that caused all these problems.

8+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. You need to be able to deal with the different systems - cleaning up, repurposing litter, building a base and caring for your animal. There's limited Oxygen so you have to manage your useable and be sure to refill or lose progress.
