Play Overview
Magic Twins (2021) is a cooperative puzzle game where Abra and Cadabra use their colour powers to defeat hordes of colour coded enemies. You play by moving up and down and picking the coloured spell to match the enemies. It stands out for the lovely story and simple controls which suit even the youngest of players.
Two magical twins, Abra and Cadabra, accidentally trigger a chromageddon when trying to dye their clothes. Bottles start to appear all over the land, running around and causing harm to the island’s inhabitants. You work with a friend or computer player to deal with the colourful outbreak.
You work through a range of different levels where the bottles appear in the middle and must be defeated with your matching colour spells to stop them. But spells are not enough on their own. You need to carefully communicate with each other to ensure you don't both fire spells at the same enemy and end up stunning your partner.
As you progress you unlock special powers that affect more than one bottle enemy. You can also go after optional challenges for the levels. It's a game that is quite simple to grasp. Although it gets more complex as you go, the difficulty doesn't ramp up too steeply.
