Content Rating

Rated PEGI 3 for occasional, very mild violence in a comical or abstract context. Suitable for all ages. Players run and jump through 3D and side-scrolling environments. They can hop on enemies' heads and/or use a tailspin to stun them. Enemies disappear amid puffs of smoke, colourful light effects, and coins when defeated. Some of the bosses can be a bit disturbing or menacing.

Skill Level

7+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Families have told us "My 7-year-old loves Lucky's Tale. She prefers to play with someone there to talk about it with. In the beginning, she needed a lot of help as it was her first platformer but she’s got the hang of it now. She likes to be encouraged to retry when she’s stuck and Dad sometimes does some difficult jumping for her. She’s brilliant at the logic puzzles where you have to push the statues around in the right order. We never help with those as we feel working things out logically by herself helps her critical thinking in other areas. She does tend to only play for a max 20 mins at a time."
