She and the Light Bearer (2019) is a point-and-click adventure game with hand-drawn visuals, where you find and interact with items to solve puzzles and advance through its narrative. It’s accompanied by an instrumental acoustic soundtrack that reveals a new track for each new area.

The game creates a hand-drawn storybook fairy-tale world where you play a firefly on a quest to find the Mother and restore peace. A large portion of the game consists of written dialogues with a cast of whimsical characters that you meet along the way. Puzzles are relatively easy, making the game approachable for younger or more casual players.

As you journey with the little Firefly into the unknown forest, by solving riddles, challenges, and puzzles, a story about prevailing in a large scary world emerges. "œOur Little Firefly will learn the sacrifice of the forest, the horror of the Devourers, and the secret to awakening Mother," say the developers.
