Play OverviewPlay Overview

Shindig is a story-book adventure where you explore a hand-drawn island to help a rainbow of quirky characters to plan the perfect party. You play by visiting the different people and completing missions to find the things they need or solving simple puzzles.

Shindig is a warm, cheerful, musical and fully-voiced adventure. It's like a children's story, but you are the lead character. As you move around, talking to the people you meet and take on tasks to help get the party ready, you discover an point-and-click style adventure about helping people.

It's a simple game that lasts a few hours. Unlike other more complex games, this offers a simple linear story that's easy to follow (you always get the good ending). It’s not designed for children (there are some long words here and there) Shindig has no swears or scares and just a few (optional) serious conversations.

The result is a simple game that doesn't shrink from difficult themes around identity, confidence, friendship, bullying, anxiety and loss. These are gently introduced and optional if you want to find out more about the characters' back story. It's like a primary school painting that's come to life.
