Spilled (2025) is a traversal game where you explore the waterways of a polluted land to collect and clean up the waste. Play involves steering your little tug to collect the spilt oil and then deliver it to earn coins and upgrade your boat. It stands out for the world-in-miniature aesthetic and the gentle approach to environmental action.
You work your way through the different rivers and oceans to slowly clean them up and restore the vibrant flora and fauna living there. As you progress through the eight different areas, you take on larger challenges with bigger waste. But there's no time pressure or high score, you can simply take your time returning the world to how it once was - and earn coins along the way.
Whether you are pushing plastic to the recycling centre, sucking up oil from the water or washing chemicals off the land - you must find a way to steadily get things clean. In each area, there are two stranded animals to find.
