Stampede: Racing Royale (2024) combines Mario Kart and Fortnite to offer 60-player kart racing. To play you take on other racers in over-the-top circuits with a creeping elimination to avoid. It's like Mario Kart meets Fortnite.
Usually, kart Racing games are about a battle to complete a few laps with at most 16 other racers. Stampede: Racing Royale brings up to 60 participants together in one race. The familiar shortcuts and power-ups are available but here you use them in an arena- rather than in lap-based battles.
Different modes are offered, including Stampede Races, which offer classic karting action and Stampede Battles, where competitors are locked in power-up laden arenas to fight their way to victory.
As you progress you earn points to unlock new vehicles and customisations. This enables players to show off their prowess with rare paint jobs, stickers and add-ons.
