Play Overview
Survivor.io (2020) is a shooting game where you survive hoards of zombies. You play by controlling the direction of your character and nothing else. Unlike the web game of a similar name, Surviv.io Battle Royale, this is a single-player game that stands out for its incremental improvement and simple controls.
You play a warrior battling waves of evil and dangerous zombies. You are hugely outnumbered by enemies and must work to manage your automated weapons and movement to clear safe routes around the level without getting trapped by the encroaching zombies.
As you progress you make choices about which weapons and abilities to unlock. Perhaps some Sports Shoes to get faster movement, perhaps a Homing Rocket to get more firepower or how about a spinning drone to damage zombies before they get too close.
The result is a fun-to-play game that's different each time. It's simple enough to play with a single thumb or finger, but compelling enough to have you trying again and again as you work on different strategies for survival.
Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Survivor.io 2 years ago. It was re-examined by Thom Robertson and updated 7 weeks ago.
