Play OverviewPlay Overview

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (2016) is an action-adventure game set several years after the events of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. You play Nathan Drake, a happily married former treasure hunter coaxed out of retirement by his brother. This leads into another final adventure for Nate and stretches his commitment and relationship with Elena.

You run, jump, explore and fight your way through rich environments to search for clues to the location of Henry Avery's long-lost treasure. This involves solving puzzles and using guns and fists to combat enemies.

As well as the excitement and fisticuffs, this game brings to culmination Nate’s obsession with treasure hunting and the price the people in his life have to pay for this. We revisit why father figure Sully is so important to him and how he has been shaped by his difficult relationship with his brother and the broken childhood they shared. Between the fighting, this brings moments of real humanity that intelligently and playfully use the medium to communicate love.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Uncharted 4: A Thief's End 4 years ago. It was re-examined by Ben Kendall and updated 9 months ago.
