Unturned (2014) is a strategy survival game where you are in a Minecraft and Roblox-style world filled with zombies. You have to carefully explore the world, gather resources and craft weapons. You might go in guns blazing, sneak around making use of distractions, or confront the enemies to learn special skills. However to tackle the task, the game responds to your actions intelligently.
You need to forage for food and clothing to survive the harsh natural environment. You have to deal with other online players and team up or take them down. You can arrest bandits with handcuffs and blindfold them as a non-lethal strategy. Or fight them with a wide variety of weapons - swords, machine guns, snipers, missiles, landmines.
As you accrue resources you need to build a base with barricades, furniture, traps, machinery. Board up the windows of existing structures to survive the night. Craft an entirely new structure from supplies you collect. Turn your vehicle into a moving fortress by building on it.
Different modes are set up to encourage different kinds of play. All against all has you raiding enemy encampments, Arena mode is a last man standing battle and Roleplay mode encourages everyone to stay in character and tell a story together.
Along with online play you can also play solo. Meet, talk and trade with computer characters. Complete quests to progress the story while you fend off waves of the undead.
Out now on PC, confirmed for Xbox One and PlayStation in the autumn. It will offer all gameplay features enjoyed by players on PC with restructured visuals, enhanced game mechanics, a new deeper unlock progression system, and a refreshed experience for players.

The map layout has separate areas dedicated for base building within a dense forest surrounding the only lootable location on the map; the city. Zombies remain a constant threat across the metropolis, and spell doom for the reckless survivor. Players must keep an eye out for any TVs with static, which mark the presence of hidden ranger crates containing unique weapons and items.
