Play Overview
Play involves running around an open-world cartoonish level searching for special teardrops. You explore a large area, learning new traversal techniques, finding collectables and discovering secret areas. It can be hard to locate some of the teardrops, so exploring every corner of the map is important.
The levels are uniquely crafted with different themes, but each contains tricky jumping sections and enemies to fight or avoid. As you adventure you collect berries which unlock skills and cosmetic items for your character. For example, you can buy the ability to use your leaf as a skateboard or the developer's logo on a mask.
Combining a comfortable cartoonish art style with a nature theme, Woodle Tree 2: Deluxe captures the essence of adventure and exploration. It includes boatloads of hidden objects to find and thousands of berries to collect, which means the game is very replayable.
