Play Overview
The set-up for the game is that you are a living-at-home adult son whose parents are worried you've wasted your life. After discovering your ability to do this "strange" activity of walking, you set off to hike up serene mountains and take in the local fauna, on your pilgrimage to find meaning in a life spent in front of screens.
As you progress you learn to use the intentionally tricky controls to get around. You meet different people on your journey of discovery. Some help you and others, not so much. All the while the game tracks your progress with how dirty your onesie is.
The result is a game that combines novel interactions with a humorous story. It draws on previous games from the developer like Ape Out and Getting Over It to create something unique and intriguing. It's a lengthy trek up the mountain, but one you can explore at your own pace or slower.

Some of the comedy dialogue of the game includes swearing. Words including "wanker" and "*!@?*". The nature of the game is a supernatural moment where you are transported to another world. When you fall over the character makes an oof sound but is not graphically hurt. There are moments when the character screams as they fall off a cliff. There is a moment when you are underwater with accompanying drowning sounds, but you are soon at the surface.
Skill Level
12+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Still, it's important for parents and guardians to consider the maturity required to process the game content. While the controls are very simple, but the play is challenging and you need to be able to cope with repeatedly failing and have a good amount of patience.
