Play Overview
Heads Up! (2013) is a word-guessing game where one person holds the tablet or smartphone on their forehead and guesses the word it displays from clues given by the other players. The others confirm if they got it right or wrong and they flip the smartphone up or down to indicate, whereupon the next word is displayed.
For younger players, there is a Heads Up Charades For Kids version. Rather than the older pop-culture reference, this focuses on identifying animals, actions and items around the house. Also, there is a picture that appears on the app, held against the head, to help younger players. This adds a scavenger hunt aspect to the game where you are trying to collect the pictures to complete the deck.
Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Heads Up! 4 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 2 years ago.
