Play Overview
Let's Revolution (2023) is a puzzle adventure where you work to stop a narcissistic King from ruining your world. Play is like Mine Sweeper where you get numerical clues on one tile about what's on its neighbours. Here though, you use this information for where best to move to avoid enemies and collect items. It's a clever combination of this precise puzzle and a challenge where you fail often but become a little stronger each time.
You play in the beautifully illustrated world of Beebom. At the start, you choose one of the six heroes each with different abilities. The Charger is powerful but must turn over hidden tiles for energy. The Oracle adds extra information about what's on unrevealed tiles. You work through each of the levels, by using the numerical clues to deduce where the enemies are. Sometimes this helps you avoid them. Other times you can use this information to find powerful items and abilities.
As you progress and learn the Mine Sweeper rules, you can put your strategic skills to the test. Along the way, you gain new abilities and powers for your character. There are five levels to unlock for each class that can be combined with items and abilities to offer powerful strategies.
The result is a game with the simple Mine Sweepermechanic at the centre that builds out to create an adventure with considerable depth.
