Play OverviewPlay Overview

Pianista: The Legendary Virtuoso (2018) is a rhythm game where you play classical piano music by pressing buttons in time with each note. This starts easily but builds up so you are playing complex pieces of music from a range of composers.

This takes a common rhythm action format as we have seen in games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band, but moves it in a classical direction. While this won't teach actual notes or real instruments, it can open a door to classical music for younger players.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Pianista: The Legendary Virtuoso 5 years ago. It was re-examined by Thom Robertson and updated 10 weeks ago.
