Soundfall is a dungeon exploration, collection and brawling game where you use rhythm and timing with the music to land the perfect attacks. You are a Guardian of Harmony and must battle the forces of discord with up to four friends to restore harmony to the environment. It's a unique way to play that you can even tailor to your musical tastes (on PC) by importing your own music.

Play involves traversing the different areas and defeating enemies. You bash buttons and flick sticks to brawl your way through wave of enemies and deal with environmental challenges. But all the while you need to keep your eye on the beat timing and ear to the music. The closer you time your actions to the rhythm of the soundtrack, the more powerful you become,

As you progress you collect all sorts of power ups and weapons. You can use this loot in all manner of combinations that unlock powerful new abilities to help you delve deeper into the dungeons and discover more music-based weaponry. There are five musically themed characters to choose from each with their own play style, starting weapon and special abilities.

The result is an unusual combination of brawling and beat-matching. It's a fun romp in the vein of Castle Crashers, but also brings its own unique flavour to the gaming table.
