Play OverviewPlay Overview

Biped (2020) is an adventure game where two players closely collaboration to walk through levels, solve problems. It has unusual controls and friendly cute characters that make it great to share in the family.

Each player controls one of the two bipedal robots, Aku and Sila. The controls seem a bit odd at first. To walk you have to control each of the legs with a separate joystick on the gamepad. But this allows you to perform all sorts of moves, from walking and sliding to more advanced actions, like operating machinery or cutting wood.

In this way you work through mysterious location on the planet, exploring forests, valleys, waterfalls and icy mountains to find all the planetary beacons. Along the way you can collect treasures and buy a funny hats.

The puzzles will test your reflexes as well as your collaboration and planning. You need to do a lot of talking to get through each level. As this gets more complex you realise that your flexible legs can do more if you work together than on your own.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Biped 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 17 months ago.
