Play Overview
Mafia Definitive Edition (2002) is a series of action/adventure games about being in the Mafia. You play Tommy Angelo, a poor hard-working cab driver who gets caught up in a fight between two crime families. You explore a large open city taking on criminal activities to rise through the ranks of organised crime.
You explore and discover missions from mafia figures that you complete to progress the story. Like Grand Theft Auto you can use vehicles, enter buildings, interact with characters and generally live the life of a gangsta in a living breathing city.
The three games in the series are set in fictional locations in different time periods. Mafia is set in Lost Heaven in the 1930s. Mafia II is set in Empire Bay in the early 1950s. Mafia III is set in the late 1960s in New Bordeaux.
The definitive edition offer improved graphics, redone voiceovers and a larger story including the Great Depression and the American Prohibition.
