Play OverviewPlay Overview

Jailbreak (2017) is a popular Roblox game about escaping prison and getting away with various crimes. Based on the popular Prison Life and Madcity Roblox games, but adds a large open world in which you can drive vehicles, earn weapons and rob various buildings. It's similar in style and ambition to Grand Theft Auto.

In Roblox Jailbreak the goal depends on your team. Prisoners must break out and become successful criminals by robbing stores, banks or museum heists. Police try to keep prisoners in jail by arresting them, and foiling robberies and car chases. There is a criminal base where players can pick up weapons and get changed from their Prison Jumpsuits.

Like any popular Roblox game, Jailbreak has been frequently updated to add features like trains, spike traps, customisable cars, museums, new types of robberies and cargo planes. This has created a huge world to explore and discover.

What looks like a simple game actually offers a surprisingly in-depth experience, both in terms of strategies for escaping prison, committing crimes, earning money as well as policing other players and sending them back to jail.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Jailbreak (Roblox) 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 7 weeks ago.
